About GovSmart

GovSmart, a HUBZone Value-Added Reseller, was founded in 2009 by two ambitious techies who take the term “value-added” to heart. GovSmart’s offerings include 3 major divisions: IT, Manufacturing, and Tactical. We mainly provide commercial-off-the-shelf information technology solutions to the US Federal Government and its Prime Contractors. We also provide Advanced Manufacturing solutions, firearms, and tactical equipment. Our highly qualified team takes a solution-driven approach to meet our customers’ most challenging IT needs. We partner with world-class OEMs and service providers to offer the most competitive pricing, while simplifying the procurement process.

Requirements

Per Virginia law, we cannot hire you unless you present documents sufficient to establish your legal right to work in the United States. Also, as our work involves interaction with agencies of the Federal Government, we do not choose applicants with criminal histories including financial or fraud-related crimes. If you are found to have such a history during the application process or after being hired, your employment may be terminated on that basis.

Qualifications

Please discuss your experience, training, education, and any other information that will show you are prepared for the position you are applying for. If you are offered a position, we provide job-specific training – so we are most interested in applicants who are motivated to grow and learn.

Interview

We will not ask you questions regarding the protected characteristics listed above. We will not ask you about any criminal matters that have been expunged from your record, including any charges of simple marijuana possession, as such questions are prohibited under Virginia law. We will not ask you for access to your social media accounts.
